Why should I visit Formentera

Ibiza’s ‘chilled out little sis’ is a Balearic favourite for those in the know or indeed for anyone who lives here. We like to keep it our own secret but let’s be honest the cat’s out of the bag so charter a boat with us and come and see for yourselves.

The island is small but perfectly formed, it takes us (well those who can remember) back to te good old hippy days of yore with nothing but white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters fantastic music and really not that much more.

‘This little island feels a million miles from the glitz of Ibiza; pared down and laid back, its all about the beaches and a simpler way of life. For amazing beaches you’re spoilt for choice, but I like to head south of the island to Mijorn to beat the crowds and have lunch in the chiringuito Kiosko 62. Or if I’m taking a boat over with friends for the day, we’ll head to one of the secret bays around the coast line by restaurant Es Calo for a swim, before stopping in for rose and wild sea bass’

Probably the best advice in Formentera is rent a scooter and go, but if you do need a bit more guidance check out day guides here…
